The version number of your train/wagon will be on the first screen when using the installer, and in the release notes. For example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\ChrisTrains\
RailSimulator\RailVehicles\EMUs\NS DDZ\~ns_ddz_release_notes.txt
You can also use this little tool to report all your version numbers: christrainsproductversions.bat
